YOUR FAITH AND YOUR FUTURE BY Mike Evers

Everyone has a future even if it is right under your own nose. You have a future and a choice as to whether or not you embrace it. Faith is defined as trusting in a super natural power or powers that control one’s destiny. It can also be explained as trusting in something or someone even if there is evidence that is unseen. You see you probably have faith in the fact that tomorrow morning you will wake up and start your day, your day will go well and then you will go to sleep tomorrow night and start over again the next day.

Even though there is no evidence supporting the fact that you will wake up tomorrow morning and take your first breath, you probably have faith in the fact that you will wake up in the morning and take that first breath anyway even though you have no guarantee this is how these events in your life will play out. So you must believe in something, some one or even some higher power other than your self.

I believe in God. Have I seen him in the physical since? No, but I know he exists and is watching over me. Like the wind, I may not see his presence but I can feel his presence everywhere. I cannot see the wind blow but I can feel it everywhere as well. So I know that the wind exists as do I know that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit exists and lives inside me. Why do you think that is? It is because I have faith and full trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How do I know that in spite of a bad economy that my business will continue to grow? I know because I have faith that God will bless my business and those who I help. I also believe in the power of the spoken word because the bible teaches that you are snared by the words of your mouth. In other words, what you speak is what you get.

For example, get up tomorrow morning and tell yourself “I’m going to have a bad day.” Say it over and over again and tell me if you don’t end up having a bad day. God won’t bless you if you keep on saying that, if he does, then you tell me how. If you say over and over again, “I’m going to have a fantastic day” over and over again even when someone or something tries to throw a negative at you to bring you down, keep saying what you want and God will bless you. The bible says, Ask and you shall receive. Am I right or am I right?

In life, there is positive, negative, good and evil. God gives us the ability to make decisions of our own free will. Each decision we make will have a positive, negative, good or evil outcome. So it is important to make the right choices and ask for what you want. God didn’t make any junk and everyone here has something to contribute just as everyone has blessings that are available to them. You just have to ask for them and go out and get them.

Is it possible for someone with a dream to make $50 thousand part-time in a bad economy? It’s all in how you look at it. Two shoe salesmen were in Africa evaluating the market over there. One email his boss and told him to cancel the order for 10,000 shoes because he saw that people were not wearing any shoes because there wasn’t a large enough market for them. The other salesman emailed the same boss and told him to go ahead and double the order to 20,000 shoes because there is a large market full of people over there without shoes who don’t know they really need them. So what do you think happened? We’ll leave that one up to interpretation because I know that you are intelligent enough to know there was indeed a positive outcome for the second salesman. You got to have faith in the supernatural, not mere calculation.

It Can Happen To You.

I started out in the corporate world because I wanted to make a difference.  There is a 70% unemployment rate among people who are blind and visually impaired in the United States.  35% of which are either gainfully employed or under employed.  The 35% who are under employed often work for a non-profit organization in an industry program under a federal law that was passed in the late 1930’s that mandates that Federal Government agencies purchase items from these non-profit organizations made by people who are blind.

Although the legislation behind the program was designed under good intentions, it is antiquated and needs a serious overhaul.  Most of the non-profit agencies under this federal program have no incentive under this legislation to provide opportunities for upward mobility of people who are blind.  There are people in the program who are qualified for positions at the professional/managerial level that often fall through the cracks.  I believe this is because of technological, attitudinal, sociological and political barriers.

There are some non-profit organizations that have recognized this problem and are actively doing something about it, though there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.  I went through one of those programs.  Yet I am back at one of those non-profit organizations working in a production position instead of at the professional/managerial level.  Why?  It is because there are no jobs available for someone who is totally blind like me at the professional/managerial level.  I believe the main reason is because many of the non-profits have limited resources and cannot afford to invest 10s of thousands of dollars in adaptive technology needed to modify the job so that someone totally blind like me can do the job efficiently and without sighted assistance.  More importantly, there is no reason for them to do so.

For example, a non-profit that I work for has a call center.  The entire organization produces annual revenues of more than $200 million, they pay their call center staff who have high school diplomas or barely out of college $14.00 an hour, yet they cannot invest a mear $30,000.00 to modify the job for a totally blind person.  They can afford to invest $2,000,000.00 in machinery that brakes down a lot so that the blind employees with masters degrees that operate them can make minimum wage or barely above.  I don’t know about you but that just does not sound right or fair to me but that’s all there is available right now.

I had my state send me to school on the tax-payer’s dime.  I got a masters degree all on their dime but I haven’t used it in over a year.  That’s politics.

Two years ago, I took an office job as a project specialist for anon-profit organization.  It sounded very promising and I was told I would be working for a company who was not only financially sound but who would be patient with me in helping me learn the business.  They told me I was doing a great job and that in two years I would be promoted to a higher position.  That was until the bottom began to fall out.

It turned out the company was not doing so well and that they were scrambling to keep it above water.  Almost a year after I was hired, everyone had to take a 25% pay cut.  Two months later I was let go and told that I could work in the factory for minimum wage until another office position became available.  So I staid on a couple of months until things went from bad to worse.

They started laying off most of the factory workers.  They changed the health insurance policy from a good policy to a not so good policy.  They also had a call center that was intended for people who were totally blind but they decided to hire sighted people to work in the call center instead.  They managed to achieve ISO 9,000 certification but they laid off more than 40 plus blind factory workers who were only making minimum wage.  They lost two major contracts and they are on the verge of losing more.  They are still in business but barely holding on from what I have heard.

I uprooted my family, invested two years prior to that in a training program and seven  years of school prior to all of that to end up making just barely above minimum wage.  For a long time I felt that I would have been much better off not going to school and taking a job at one of those non-profits instead because I would have been a lot further ahead.  That was until I found this business opportunity.

I’m sorry to tell you this folks but corporations don’t care if you can pay your bills or not.  This is especially true for many corporations employing blind people.  What they care about are mission, margin and balance.  If they can’t get those three components right, they can’t help you; sorry.  This is true for even major corporations.  No one is immune from losing their job.

Is there anything we can do?  Yes there is.  You can start your own business and take control of your life.  You can even start your own business without going into debt.  We teach a step by step approach for helping you start making money so that you can achieve your dream and the life style you want.  There is no risk to you.  If you follow the system we teach, there is no reason why you cannot be successful in this business.  So what are you waiting for?

Your job isn’t going to be there for you.  You can be one of the smartest people in the world, think you have it altogether, believe “it won’t happen to me,” then you wake up one day, go into work as usual , get pulled into a meeting and are told “sorry but we got to let you go.”  Believe me that is one of the most devastating feelings to have.  Have you thought about what you are going to do?

How are you going to pay your mortgage?

How are you going to pay your bills?

How are you going to put food on the table?

How long do you think that unemployment check is going to last?

It’s only a matter of time folks before it all comes crashing down.  Don’t you think you need to have a plan?  You can’t turn back the clock and do it all over again.  Once your time is spent, you can never get it back.

What would your life be like if you had more time and money?  Would it be worth 15 minutes out of your busy schedule if it meant that you could have more time and money to do what you want instead of having it controlled by a boss who doesn’t care about you?

Believe me they are not going to lose a night’s sleep over you when they let you go.  The only thing that your boss cares about is your boss.  In fact my last boss I worked for told me that she was my friend.  She still was instrumental in my being layed off.  Well with friends like her, I don’t need any enemies.  Think she’s still my friend?  We’ll leave that one up to your imagination.  The people you work for are not your friends.  They may be friendly to you and tell you they are your friends, but I’m sorry, they are not.  So think long and hard before you decide to give your life away to these people who don’t care about you.

You need to build a business that you can afford to build on a part time basis.  Build it until it replaces your income from your job for about six months to a year.  Then if you are happier doing the business, then you can quit your job and do what ever you like.  Think about it and then click this link http://www.eversonlinemarketing.com to learn more and finally get the time and money you deserve.

Who wouldn’t be happier living the life they were meant to live?  Get up when you want too.  Go to bed when you want too.  Travel anywhere in the world you want to go.  Stay as long as you want to stay.  Drive the car you want to drive.  Build the house you want to live in and have it all paid for.

Don’t buy into the old fashioned industrial age philosophy that says having a job will make you successful; it won’t.  What will make you successful is owning a business with a system that will work for you instead of working for the system.  I’ll talk more about that in future updates.  Think about it and we’ll see you at the top.

I Walk the Line

I walk the line was an inspiring movie about a man who followed his dream no matter what it took.  Even all of the personal daemons that haunted him and conflicts he inured at home did not stop him from going after his dream.  In case you are not familiar with the movie, it is based on the story of Jonnie Cache’s life.

If you haven’t seen the film, I recommend you go out and rent a copy.  Then take a long hard look at yourself and decide what it is that you really want out of life, because you got to make a choice.

You either do what you got to do or you won’t.  There is no room for compromise.  You cannot have your cake and eat it too.

I am not all that great.  I just know something great.  It took me 4 and 1 half years to graduate college with a disability.  It took me 3 years to complete my masters.  I managed to pass my entire math classes, finance classes, accounting classes and the rest of my required course work even though most of society told me I couldn’t do it.  I proved them wrong because I possessed the drive and determination to succeed in order not to become another statistic.

I was smart enough to know a few important things that other people did not know.  I know that no one is going to do it for me.  I had to take the bull by the horns and tame it myself if I wanted to get what I wanted out of life.

What I also knew, was that college and graduate school alone was not enough to teach me the key skill sets I needed to master if I was going to get what I wanted.  This is why I decided to start reading books on business.  I knew if I was to generate leads to find people that I can help go into business for themselves, I was going to have to buy some books and learn how to do it.  I also knew I was going to have to get out there and fail a few times until I got better at it.

I knew if I wanted to expand my business and sell products to customers, I needed to learn how to write a sales letter.  So I bought some books and learned how to do it.  I knew if I needed to get my business out on the web that I would have to make a web site, so I learned how.  I knew if I was going to conquer my fear of the phone, I was going to have to force myself to make at least 20 to 30 cold calls a day in my spare time.  So I am doing it.

More importantly, I have learned that the learning process never ends.  I read about 20 minutes a day.  Sometimes I read more than that when my schedule permits.

Here’s what you should never do if you want to get yourself from point A all the way to Point Rich.  You never complain, you never whine, you never feel sorry for yourself, you never blame anyone other than yourself and you never give up no matter what the circumstance.  I would rather live in poverty trying, than to live with the guilt of never having realized that I had what it took.  That would be a waste of a good life.

If you want to get more out of life, here’s what you got to do.  You’ve got to be willing to do what others have already done before you.  You have to earn the right through blood, sweat and tears.  There is no easy alternative so don’t ask me or anyone else if there is an easy way.  Nothing in life comes easy.  You have to work for it if you want it bad enough.  That’s what separates the top 2% earners from the bottom 98% earners.  Are you willing to do what it takes to be in the top 2%?

Here is the list; the price top 2% earners have paid to get to where they are, which is where you want to be.

LOCAL BLIND COUPLE BANNED FROM NORTH RALEIGH Lowes Food GROCERY STORE AFTER ASKING FOR HELP WITH GROCERY SHOPPING 1/23/2010.

Around 5:30 PM this Saturday evening Michael and Evelyn Evers, a local blind couple and their two guide dogs walked in to a Lowes Food Grocery store in the Millbrook Commons Shopping Center to buy a few perishable grocery items to take home for Sunday dinner.  The couple approached the customer service counter to ask for sighted assistance with getting their groceries because they could not find the items on their own.  When asking for help, the couple was told by Christina the store manager that they were under-staffed and would not be able to help them find the items they need.  Michael then asked to speak with her supervisor and Christina replied that her boss was on vacation.  She refused to verbally give the blind couple a telephone number they could write down to call and express their concerns.  She only gave them an old coupon for a buffet at some strange restaurant.

So Michael told the store manager that if they were going to refuse to help him and his wife with their grocery shopping, then he would take his business else ware and not shop there again.  The store manager then told the couple that they could call the Lowes Food to Go Delivery service and pay them to deliver their groceries.  He then informed the store manager that he and his wife did not believe that they should have to pay extra to have their groceries delivered to their home when he and his wife made the trip to the grocery store in the first place.  He finally went on to say that he would tell all of his closest friends and relatives not to shop there again.  Then the store manager replied by saying “that’s fine.”

As Michael, Evelyn and their guide dogs were making their way out of the store, they told a group of customers about there frustrations with Lowes Food customer Service refusing to help them and a few of the customers decided to leave the store as well.  Once the couple had made it outside of the store, they thought that would be the end of it.

After Michael pulled out his cell phone to telephone a cab to take them to another grocery store, the couple was greeted by two Raleigh police officers.  The police officers explained to the couple that there was a disturbance and that they were called out to investigate the incident.  The couple then explained their side to the Raleigh Police officers and the officers then told the couple that Lowes Foods were going to ban the blind couple, barring them from shopping at the Capitol Crossings Shopping Center location and all Lowes food locations for life.  The blind couple was told by the Raleigh police officers that they could be arrested for trespassing if they set foot on any of the Lowes Food Properties.  So the blind couple told the two Raleigh Police officers that they will never have to worry about them ever setting foot on any of the Lowes Food properties ever again.

Strangely enough, the blind couple had been shopping regularly at the same Lowes Food Location for over one year prior to getting their guide dogs.  It was only after getting their guide dogs that the blind couple has experienced problems with getting Lowes Food customer service staff to help them with getting their groceries.  Is this a case of discrimination or a case of poor customer service?  You decide.  Stand up and help protect the rights of the blind and all disabled consumers by expressing your dislike to the Lowes Food Corporation.

- Work from the comfort of your home
- Set your own schedule
- Unlimited income potential
- Achieve financial freedom
- Learn the secrets to wealth

Go to http://www.eversonlinemarketing.com

During these turbulent times in a down economy America needs a revival of the entrepreneurial spirit and the Free Enterprise System. Unfortunately we do not live in a world where our lifestyles are governed by how much credit we can get. The days of living on borrowed credit are over.

We were all told growing up, “get a good education then you will get a good job and be successful. There is good news and bad news. The bad news is that an education doesn’t make you successful. It only represents what you have done not what you are doing. The good news is that you don’t need an MBA from Harvard to build a successful business. The only thing that you need is to quit watching television 5 nights a week, a dream, a positive mental attitude and the desire to stay committed.

What we are going to present to you is not a “Get rich quick scheme,” but a proven business model along with a team of business leaders who are dedicated to teaching business basics through coaching and mentorships where the teacher bears the expense in training newcomers in whom they have confidence. We are not looking for investors. We are fully capitalized and are seeking ambitious folks that can focus on a goal and achieve it.

If this sounds like you, then we want to help you achieve your dream and realize your path to financial freedom all in your spare time.

Visit our website to watch a short presentation about our business model and training program. We also invite you to contact us via the contact form on our website for more information and a no obligation consultation.
